Job summary

TenneT is seeking a Platform Engineer for Datacenter Networking to strengthen our IT infrastructure reliability and performance. You will join a team of 12 specialists and lead initiatives to ensure continuous availability for the Dutch grid and digital operations.

In this role you will implement changes, monitor complex networks, and handle 2nd- and 3rd-line incidents. A HBO+ Computer Science degree with 3–5 years of hands-on IT infra experience is required, along with Dutch and English

Qualifications

Completed HBO+ degree in Computer Science.
Proven experience in at least 3 to 5 years in complex IT infrastructure environments.
Knowledge of Cisco Nexus and Arista switches; management tooling certification is a plus.
Experience with BGP, OSPF, IS-IS on network gear.
Familiarity with Check Point and Palo Alto security products.
Familiarity with A10 load balancer and Aruba ClearPass & Wireless.
Experience with Ansible is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform administrative and operational tasks on the (network) infrastructure.
Monitor and safeguard the availability and performance of the (network) infrastructure.
Investigate and resolve (complex) 2nd- and 3rd-line incidents in the (network) infrastructure.
Write change proposals and problem reports in response to incidents and planned changes.
