Job summary

Bunge Amsterdam plant is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead the site’s health, safety and environmental program, ensuring strict compliance and fostering a proactive safety culture among all employees. You will verify, manage and report safety controls, coordinate trainings and toolbox talks, perform TRA’s and SOPs, and serve as the on‑the‑floor link between workers and management.

Educational background of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or an HSE related field; strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or HSE related diploma.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and occupational health standards.
• Experience with safety inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-first culture and coordinate proactive safety involvement at the site.
• Verify, manage and report on safety controls and indicators.
• Coordinate training, toolbox talks, and field safety preparations for contractors and staff.
• Lead periodic safety meetings and contribute to corrective action plans.
• Be the main on-field contact between shopfloor and management for safety systems.
