Job summary

Georg Fischer NV in the Netherlands seeks a commercially driven professional with a technical heart to act as the main customer contact. You translate questions into quotes, identify opportunities, and support sales and marketing in campaigns, trade shows, and product launches.

You work closely with account managers, preparing quotations, following up requests, and coordinating with technical teams to deliver solutions. A strong ERP/CRM affinity and Dutch/English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

MBO or HBO education in a technical field (e.g., mechanical/electrical/chemical process).
At least 2 years in a client-facing role; commercial experience in a technical environment is a plus.
Able to think technically to align with customer needs.
Team player who collaborates to ensure superior customer experience.
Accurate with strong overview and professional demeanor.
Affinity with ERP and CRM systems, preferably SAP and MS Dynamics.
Good command of Dutch and English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as main contact for customers, translating needs into quotations and solutions.
Follow up on requests and coordinate with technical/product teams on questions.
Identify opportunities with existing customers and contribute ideas for campaigns, product launches, and trade shows.
Conduct telephone sales and provide technical advice on products and applications.
Ensure a smooth quotation process and clear communication among involved parties.
