Job summary

Eindhoven University of Technology invites applications for Assistant/Associate Professor in III-V Photonic Integration. You will develop independent research lines, leverage InP processing capabilities, and contribute to the Photonic Integration group’s internationally recognized program.

The role combines leading-edge research with teaching duties, supervision of PhD students, and active pursuit of national and European funding.

Qualifications

• PhD in EE, Applied Physics, Materials Science or related field.
• Strong fabrication expertise in III/V photonics or fabless circuit design with foundry relations.
• Clear independent research vision and strategic execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop new research lines on photonic integrated circuit design and/or integration technologies.
• Collaborate across disciplines to explore integrated systems and new paradigms.
• Contribute to teaching, supervise PhD students and postdocs.
• Acquire research funding from national/European programs and industry partners.
