Opportunity: PhD researcher for the CIVIC-4CE project on circular consumption

Do you know anyone who is interested in a fascinating PhD position on the transition to circular consumption, with a focus on e-bikes and electronics, using stakeholder workshops, scenarios, and pathways, and delving into circular consumption ecosystems and innovation niches?

Do you want to understand how to organise the transition to circular consumption of e-bikes and electronics by employing stakeholder workshops, scenarios, and pathways, and diving into circular consumption ecosystems and innovation niches?

In this PhD vacancy, you will work in the work package focused on systemic transitions towards circular consumption and production by integrating behavioural change, visions and transition pathways, modelling, and policy mixes. We are seeking candidates with a Master’s degree in Inter/trans-disciplinary Sciences, Transition or Innovation Studies, Complex Systems Engineering and Management, Engineering & Policy Analysis, Management of Technology, Industrial Ecology, or a relevant Social Science discipline. You will:

• Map emerging circular consumption niches related to e-bikes and electronics (especially domestic equipment).
• Conduct stakeholder workshops and interviews to develop and validate future visions and pathways to circular consumption.
• Combine qualitative and quantitative or socio-technical modelling methods.
• You will collaborate with other (early career) researchers and consortium partners.
