Job summary

TU Delft invites applications for a 4-year PhD position on Transition Pathways and Innovation for Circular Consumption of E-bikes and Electronics. You will work within the CIVIC-4CE project, focusing on systemic transitions, behavioural change, and governance strategies to enable lasting circular consumption.

The role involves stakeholder engagement, mixed methods, and collaboration with a diverse team across the project and partners, under the TPM faculty.

Qualifications

• Experience with qualitative research, participatory research, or quantitative socio-technical modelling.
• Strong interest in circular economy, circular innovation ecosystems, and participatory approaches.
• Ability to thrive in interdisciplinary and technical environments.
• Excellent writing, presenting, and communication skills.
• Open-minded team player able to collaborate with stakeholders in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Work in the work package for systemic transitions towards circular consumption and production.
• Integrate behavioural change, visions, transition pathways, modelling, and policy mixes.
• Collaborate with early-career and senior researchers and consortium partners.
• Engage with relevant stakeholders, innovative companies, and policymakers to gather data and validate results.
