Job summary

The Hague University of Applied Sciences invites applications for a Researcher / PhD Candidate in agent-based modelling (ABM) on the circular economy. The position is 0.8 fte for four years, with enrolment in TU Delft's Graduate School and a PhD thesis defended at TU Delft.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold an MSc in a quantitative field.
• Affinity with simulation modelling or programming is required.
• ABM experience is a strong asset.
• Excellent English writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a multi-level ABM linking micro to macro dynamics.
• Uncover which behaviours drive system-level transitions.
• Build interactive policy dashboards to explore scenarios.
• Collaborate with CIVIC-4CE and THUAS research groups.
