Job summary

Maastricht University is offering a PhD Candidate position in Neuromodulation of Brain Oscillations during Cognition. You will study neural oscillation dynamics related to working memory using real-time EEG and non-invasive brain stimulation, within the PRECHRON ERC-funded project.

You will conduct data collection and analysis, write scientific papers, present findings, and teach at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team at the Faculty of Psychology and

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience, Neuroscience, Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of EEG, non-invasive brain stimulation, or other physiological measurement techniques used in human research.
• Experience with programming for research in MATLAB or Python.
• Strong command of written and spoken English (CEFR C1+). Dutch is an advantage.
