Job summary

Certara is seeking Pharmacometricians to deepen drug development expertise and inform decision making across discovery and development. You will perform hands-on modeling on client projects in a collaborative consultant team, contributing to model development, QC, and knowledge transfer.

You will work with a range of therapeutic areas and modalities, leveraging model-based meta-analysis, E-R simulations, and PK/PD modelling to answer key questions and support strategy, regulatory filings, and

Qualifications

PhD, MD, or PharmD in a life sciences or engineering field.
1–5 years of industry/consulting in R&D/pharmacometric settings.
Experience in pharmacometrics, clinical pharmacology, PK/PD in a project team.
Expertise in PK/PD modelling with nonlinear or mechanistic components.
Proficiency in PK/PD software (e.g., NONMEM, R).
Proficiency in modelling (popPK, PK/PD analyses, trial simulations, etc.).
Experience guiding compounds through clinical development and filings preferred.
Independent work with limited supervision; client communication.
English proficiency; travel <10%.

Responsibilities

Support projects for Certara’s clients in teams with Associates and senior modelers.
Hands-on pharmacometric modeling on client projects.
Quality control of model codes and reports.
May lead/coordinate company initiatives (IT, methodology, efficiency, automation).
Act as the primary client contact and help grow business.
