Job summary

Cencora seeks a Pharmacy Operations Specialist to support daily pharmacy workflows, ensure accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance within set standards. You will coordinate handoffs with pharmacists and technicians, investigate routine issues, and maintain audit-ready records.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or related field and 2+ years in pharmacy support; licensure/certification is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site role in the Netherlands.

Applies policies, validation checks, and documentation standards to maintain audit-ready records and regulatory compliance. Coordinates handoffs with pharmacists, technicians, and adjacent teams; provides status updates and flags risks with proposed next steps. Investigates and resolves straightforward operational issues using standard tools and precedents; escalates exceptions with context and recommended options. Reconciles data and inventory records using standard systems and reports; validates totals and corrects discrepancies within control thresholds. Maintains role-relevant knowledge of privacy, security, quality, and safety requirements; reflects current standards in daily work. Shares knowledge with peers and supports onboarding of new team members where appropriate.

Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required. 2+ years of experience in pharmacy support and operations or a closely related pharmacy services environment, or a related field required. Certification in pharmacist, pharmacy professional, or pharmacy technician licensure, or equivalent preferred.
