Merck is offering a paid internship in the Supplier Development & Performance Management (SD&PM) group. The role targets HBO students in their 2nd or 3rd year pursuing a relevant B.S./B.A. in engineering, science or related fields.

You will work hands-on to improve supplier processes, perform risk assessments, and support supplier capability initiatives while gaining exposure to Six Sigma, Lean, and statistical tools. 40 hours/week, Haarlem or Boxmeer, 3–4 days on-site.

Competenze

• HBO student in year 2 or 3 pursuing a B.S. or B.A. in engineering, science, manufacturing, applied science or technical degree.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Available for 40 hours per week.
• Must be present at Haarlem or Boxmeer site 3–4 days per week.

Mansioni

• Assist in improving supplier manufacturing and business processes.
• Support risk assessments and mitigation planning.
• Contribute to Technical Capability Assessments for suppliers.
• Provide supplier up-skilling where needed.
• Travel to supplier sites within Netherlands/region as required.
