Job summary

MSD Netherlands invites a motivated HBO student in their 2nd or 3rd year (B.S./B.A.) in Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, or related technical field for an internship in SDPM. The role offers hands-on work in supplier development and performance management within a global pharma leader.

You will gain exposure to Six Sigma, Lean, risk assessments, and supplier risk mitigation while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• HBO student in 2nd or 3rd year pursuing a relevant engineering/science/technical degree.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Available for 40 hours per week during internship.
• Must be present in Haarlem or Boxmeer site 3-4 days per week during internship period.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on improving supplier manufacturing and business processes.
• Perform risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Assist SDPM personnel with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist in Technical Capability Assessments and supplier up-skilling.
• Potential travel to supplier sites or company sites within the country/region as needed.
