Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Leiden, Netherlands, is seeking an engaged Operations Shift Lead to safeguard daily production safety and compliance. You will guide shift teams, act as Building Captain for emergencies, and collaborate across departments to remove roadblocks and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires GMP/SOP proficiency, strong leadership, and hands-on production experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams and emergency response.
• Practical knowledge of GMP and SOP.
• Experience coordinating production planning and resources.
• Ability to perform Gemba walks and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the emergency response team and act as Building Captain to ensure safety.
• Apply and promote SOPs and GMP to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate prioritization and resource allocation for production to meet schedules/quality.
• Monitor daily operational plans, perform Gemba walks, remove roadblocks for efficiency.
• Serve as first point of escalation within Operations and collaborate with other departments.
• Identify and implement process improvements, maintain visual management.
