North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital, part of National Veterinary Associates, is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) in Cornelius, NC. The PCC greets clients, checks patients in/out, schedules appointments, and handles calls to ensure smooth operations and a positive experience.

Qualifications

• Greets clients, responds to questions; checks patients in/out, and handles payments.
• Answers phone calls, which may involve screening for service needs, and scheduling appointments.
• Handles incoming and outgoing mail, e-mail, and texts with excellent communication skills.
• Monitors client waiting area to ensure cleanliness.
• Documents and maintains client and patient information to keep records up to date.
• Escalates complex matters to senior staff.
• Is able to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients as they arrive, check them in and out, and manage payments.
• Answer and screen phone calls and schedule appointments.
• Process mail, e-mail, and text communications with clear records.
• Oversee the waiting area and keep it tidy.
• Maintain accurate client/patient records and information.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff when needed.
• Remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively
