Job summary

Akkuro is seeking a Performance Engineer to join the Pension & Wealth division in Gouda, Netherlands. You will help ensure the quality of the EuroPort+ application through performance testing, collaborating with Scrum teams in an Agile setting.

Responsibilities include designing and running performance tests, automating scenarios, and reporting risks. A proactive, communicative mindset with knowledge of testing methodologies is essential.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with testing methodologies such as TMap and ISTQB.
• Understanding of web services (SOAP and REST).
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of Unix and affinity with CI/CD.
• Experience with performance testing tools and automation.

Responsibilities

• Assess software performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Execute and automate performance test scenarios (e.g., JMeter).
• Report on risks and results of performance tests.
• Maintain and improve existing test suites.
• Collaborate with other testers and share best practices.
