Job description

ORdigiNAL is a growing international company where people are our most valuable asset. As we scale, we are growing our People team and building the foundations, systems and processes that will support the organisation as it grows.

Our employees are based across multiple countries and continents, creating a genuinely international and diverse working environment. This also means that our People Operations need to work across different locations, cultures and ways of working.

We are looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and wants to play an active role in building a strong HR foundation.

The Opportunity:

Excited about making People Operations run smoothly and looking for an opportunity to make a real difference? Come and join our People team!

You will play a key role in making sure the day-to-day HR experience works well for both employees and managers. Your focus will be on keeping our people operations organised, accurate and moving forward, while identifying opportunities to improve the way we work.

This is a hands‑on role for someone with a strong systems mindset. You’ll take ownership of core HR processes, coordinate across stakeholders, maintain data quality and make sure things don’t fall through the cracks. You'll gain exposure to employment practices across multiple countries and work closely with leaders in an international business environment.

You’ll work alongside an experienced HR Manager, who will lead more strategic and complex areas such as performance management and compensation strategy, employee relations, organisational design, leadership coaching and change management. This gives you the opportunity to build strong operational expertise while developing towards a broader People Partner role over time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Prepare and administer employment contracts and other HR documentation.
  • Manage the HR mailbox and coordinate incoming employee and manager questions.
  • Maintain accurate employee data in the HRIS.
  • Support leave and absence administration.
  • Prepare HR reports and maintain high data quality.
  • Act as a first point of contact for first line HR questions and know when to escape more complex matters.
  • Follow up with managers and other stakeholders to ensure actions are completed on time.
  • Document and improve HR processes and ways of working.
  • Support the HR Manager in implementing international People initiatives and projects.
  • Participate in the implementation and optimization of HR systems, workflows and automation.
  • Explore and use AI tools and automation to improve efficiency across HR operations.
What Success Looks Like in Your First 6 Months

In your first six months, you will have built a strong understanding of how ORdigiNAL works and taken ownership of the core people operations that support our employees and managers.

You will:

  • Have a clear overview of our key HR processes and take ownership of their day‑to‑day execution.
  • Ensure onboarding, off‑boarding, contracts, leave administration and HR data are handled accurately and consistently.
  • Become a reliable first point of contact for day‑to‑day HR questions.
  • Build strong working relationships with managers and proactively follow up when information or action is needed.
  • Improve the structure, documentation and scalability of key HR processes.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify repetitive work and improve efficiency through systems, automation and AI tools.
  • Be recognised as someone who takes ownership, spots gaps and makes sure things get done.

As the role and the company develop, there is potential for the position to grow into a broader HR role, with the opportunity to gradually take on more People Partner responsibilities.

What You Bring to the Table
  • Around 2–3 years of experience in HR, People Operations, HR Coordination or a similar role and ready for the next step in your career.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English. Other European languages are a plus.
  • A strong systems mindset: you naturally think about processes, ownership, dependencies and how things can work better.
  • Experience managing day‑to‑day HR administration and maintaining accurate employee data.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable managing multiple moving parts.
  • We are not looking for someone who waits for instructions. You enjoy taking ownership, identifying gaps and improving how things are done.
  • Comfortable following up and chasing stakeholders when something needs to happen.
  • Able to answer straightforward HR questions independently while recognising when an issue requires escalation.
  • Comfortable using HR technology and curious about AI tools and automation.
  • Ambitious and motivated to grow beyond People Operations towards a broader People Partner role over the next few years.
  • Comfortable working in a growing organisation where not every process is fully defined yet.

Don't worry if you don't tick every box. What matters most is that you're proactive, eager to learn, comfortable taking ownership and excited to help us build and improve the way we work.

What we offer:

We are open to both employment and freelance arrangements. For the right person, we care more about capability, ownership and growth potential than the exact contract structure.

The package for our employees includes:

  • Pension contribution
  • 25 days’ vacation per year (ft)
  • Yearly company outings
  • Monthly team lunches
  • Office based
  • International exposure
  • Growth opportunities.
