Job summary

Allianz Partners seeks an experienced People & Culture Manager to shape the Netherlands P&C function, translating global strategies into local practice and managing complex Dutch HR matters.

The role is hands-on, requires strong HR judgment, and involves building local processes, advising managers, and collaborating with the Country Lead and Legal counsel. Fluency in Dutch and English is expected.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of broad HR generalist experience with significant exposure to the Dutch market.
• Solid, hands-on knowledge of Dutch employment law, collective labour agreements, absence and reintegration regulations, and HR policy frameworks.
• Proven experience with reorganizations, complex casework, HR projects, people analytics, and payroll governance.

Responsibilities

• Advise and take local ownership of managers on people matters, balancing business priorities with the Dutch legal context.
• Design, implement, and embed local P&C procedures, guidelines, and working methods where these do not yet exist.
• Lead complex individual cases, workplace tensions, and sensitive employee matters with discretion and in line with employment law.
• Coach managers through underperformance, improvement plans, and reintegration processes.
• Coordinate P&C input into Works Council consultations from meeting prep to consent and implementation.
• Drive or contribute to local people agendas during reorganizations and change while ensuring legal compliance.
• Translate global P&C policies into the Dutch context and extract actionable local insights.
