Job summary

Allianz Partners in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to shape local HR practices, translate global policies to the Dutch context, and drive compliant, practical people solutions. This hands-on role, with no direct reports, focuses on building foundations and optimizing processes across the employee lifecycle.

You will advise managers, handle complex cases, and collaborate with the Country Lead and Legal counsel to ensure alignment with Dutch regulations while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in HR, Psychology, Law, or related field.
• At least seven years of broad HR generalist experience in the Dutch market.
• Solid knowledge of Dutch employment law, collective labour agreements, and reintegration regulations.
• Experience with a Dutch Works Council and payroll governance.

Responsibilities

• Advise and own local topics for the Netherlands, balancing business priorities with Dutch context.
• Design, implement, and embed local P&C procedures and working methods where missing.
• Lead complex employment law matters and coach managers through underperformance and reintegration processes.
• Coordinate P&C input into Works Council consultations from prep to implementation.
• Support reorganizations and organizational change while ensuring legal compliance.
• Translate global P&C policies to the Dutch context and ensure consistent application.
• Use data to improve decisions and surface clear insights; explore GenAI-enabled solutions.
