Job summary

Fortaegis is seeking a PCB design and verification engineer to support the design, validation, and bring-up of custom PCB solutions. You will collaborate with partners on high-speed networking, FPGA/MCU, and Fortaegis ASIC integration.

The role combines hands-on bring-up, hardware debugging, lab measurements, and close collaboration with FPGA, ASIC and software teams to ensure reliable hardware/software integration and contribute to ultra-secure, high-performance SoC designs.

Qualifications

• Experience in PCB design for high-speed digital systems.
• Knowledge of signal integrity and impedance control for high-speed interfaces.
• Experience with FPGA/MCU/ASIC-based platforms is preferred.
• Understanding of PDN analysis and board-level power sequencing.
• Hands-on bring-up, hardware debugging, and lab measurements are required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners in designing multi-layer PCBs.
• Perform schematic reviews.
• Oversee prototype validation, including power validation and interface testing.
• Conduct hardware validation on prototype PCBs.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues, including rework.
• Coordinate with FPGA, ASIC, and software teams for integration.

Job requirements

• Strong experience in PCB design for high-speed digital systems
• Proven knowledge of signal integrity, impedance control, differential pair routing, and high-speed interface design
• Preferred experience designing for FPGA, MCU, or ASIC-based platforms
• Solid understanding of power supply design, PDN analysis, and board-level power sequencing
• Hands‑on experience with board bring‑up, hardware debugging, and lab measurements
