Job summary

NN Bank in The Hague is seeking a Technology Manager Payments to lead end-to-end technology management for the Daily Banking Payments domain, building and coaching a team of about 20 experts.

You will shape the technology strategy, align with governance, manage vendors, assure 24/7 availability, and drive risk and regulatory compliance, including DORA, in a highly regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technology management experience in the Dutch banking industry.
• End-to-end IT operations and 24/7 high‑performance value chains.
• Strong understanding of daily banking IT demands including risk management and regulatory requirements.
• Extensive experience in IT vendor management, SaaS deployment and SLA monitoring.
• Leadership to inspire and develop teams and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Translate the Payments domain goals into a Technology roadmap and change portfolio; ensure alignment with guardrails at bank and NN Group level.
• Identify and fulfill long‑term staff needs; align team skills to emerging technologies.
• End‑to‑end management of the Payments domain's products with 24/7 availability and quality.
• Oversee IT vendors and stakeholders; monitor SLA performance and manage expectations.
• Drive cybersecurity, resilience and regulatory compliance (including DORA) and lead risk mitigation.
