Job summary

Swissport is hiring for passenger service roles in the Netherlands to deliver comprehensive passenger and customer services, including reservations, ticketing, baggage handling, and check-in support. Qualifications

  • Ability to type and learn airline reservation/ticketing software.
  • Willingness to work in inclement weather.

Responsibilities

  • Provide passenger/customer services per contract including reservations, ticketing, baggage processing, check-in, andVIP assistance.
  • Inspect and verify passenger documentation and assist with special needs.
  • Issue boarding passes and rebook affected passengers.
  • Direct passengers through customs and immigration; manage queues and announcements.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with SOPs and ISO standards.
  • Produce required work-related documentation and reports.

Job Summary

To provide all necessary and required passenger/customer services as contracted by the customer to include but not be limited to reservations, ticketing, baggage processing, terminal/gate check-in, jet way operation, greeting arriving passengers, handling of VIPs, provide special passenger assistance, handle customer complaints and other duties as assigned.

Your activities
  • Inspect and verify passenger documentation
  • Issue boarding passes and reschedule passengers affected by flight interruptions or cancellations
  • Manage passenger baggage processing including handling and fee calculation if applicable
  • Assist passengers as needed through arrival and check in processes including support for passengers with special needs such as unaccompanied minors (UM), VIP passengers and passengers needing wheelchair assistance
  • Direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine, as required
  • Make public address announcements as required
  • Assist Ramp Service Agents to ensure that wheelchairs, strollers and gate checked bags (cleared through security) are made available for loading upon departure and delivery to passengers upon arrival
  • Comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements and Swissport SOPs and policies
  • Operate equipment to include the jet way, computer keyboards, and carrier specific reservation/ ticketing software
  • Ensure deployment of the Corporate QHSE Manual
  • Produce all required, work-related documentation
  • Follow training and rules, apply correct procedures and use personal protective equipment as instructed.
  • Only perform tasks for which they are trained for. If in doubt, colleagues shall stop the action and seek advice from the Duty Manager.
  • Share personal Health & Safety, Environment knowledge with others.
  • Report any incident, near miss, unsafe act or condition according to this manual. In case of doubt stop the task and consult superior for guidance.
  • Perform duties conscientiously, without putting themselves, others, or the environment at risk
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Comply with the responsibilities detailed in the station's QHSE Management System Manual and the manuals under your responsibility and management, ensuring compliance with the requirements in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISAGO standards.
