Job summary

UPS is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate based in Amsterdam (Lijnden) to support daily warehouse operations. You will receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch goods while ensuring accuracy and safety in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not required.
• Forklift certification is beneficial but may not be required.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with barcode scanners.
• Good communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move goods safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and verify quantities against delivery notes.
• Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report items.
• Update inventory records using WMS or scanners.
• Pick and pack products accurately according to orders.
• Prepare shipments with correct labels and documentation.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles and prepare outgoing shipments.
• Keep storage areas clean and organized.
• Arrange products according to warehouse layout and procedures.
• Use hand trucks, pallet jacks, and scanners safely; operate forklifts if certified.
• Follow health and safety policies.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff and supervisors.
