Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam North Riverside is part of The Odyssey Hotel Group. The Maintenance Technician will support two properties, performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and guest-service tasks to uphold brand standards and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, basic knowledge of building systems, and proficiency in English and/or Dutch. This part-time role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities to grow within the Odyssey organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in hotel or similar maintenance is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems is expected.
• Proficiency in English and/or Dutch (spoken and written).
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle general maintenance and repairs across two properties.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper storage of tools and chemicals.
• Manage inventory of tools and parts and coordinate with maintenance manager.
• Collaborate with other departments to support smooth operations.
• Assist during emergencies and log repairs in hotel software.
