Job summary

Commonland is seeking an Event Manager for 24 hours per week on a 6-month maternity cover basis, starting January 2027. You will develop and deliver events that support our landscape restoration mission, engaging funders, practitioners and policymakers, and ensuring alignment with our communications and fundraising teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent with proven international event management experience.
• Located and eligible to work in the Netherlands.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Execute the event strategy with the team lead as part of the communications plan.
• Lead external events production at local, regional and global levels.
• Support teams to develop event impact strategies and identify participation opportunities.
• Project-manage the communications plan for each event and coordinate deadlines.
• Evaluate events and extract learnings to improve future events.
