Job summary

Mercure Amsterdam City Hotel is looking for a parttime Team Member F&B (Waiter) to be the face of our restaurant and bar, welcome guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and ensure every guest enjoys an excellent experience in a lively hospitality setting. Most shifts are evenings, with occasional breakfast shifts; you should be able to communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic hospitality lover who enjoys interacting with people and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Available on a parttime basis and willing to work mainly evenings, including weekends.
• Friendly, proactive and service-minded.
• Able to communicate in English (Dutch not required).
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders and serve dishes and drinks.
• Set up and clear tables; maintain a clean and presentable restaurant.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver outstanding service.
• Shift patterns are mainly evenings, with occasional breakfast shifts.
