Job summary

Mercure Amsterdam City Hotel in Amsterdam is seeking a Part-time Team Member F&B (Waiter) to join our restaurant and bar team. You will welcome guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and help create memorable experiences in our dynamic hospitality setting. Evening shifts are the norm, with occasional breakfast shifts.

English is required; Dutch is not required. No formal education needed; prior hospitality is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Availability part-time and evenings; weekends when needed.
• Friendly, proactive and service-minded.
• Comfortable communicating in English (Dutch not required).
• Hospitality experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and assists guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Takes food and beverage orders and serves dishes and drinks.
• Sets up and clears tables; maintains restaurant cleanliness.
• Works with colleagues to deliver outstanding service.
• Contributes to smooth operation during busy shifts.
• Upholds brand standards and guest satisfaction.
