Job summary

Randstad Freelance is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Development Services to roll out standardized GitLab CI/CD pipelines across multiple product teams and regions. You will drive the transition from Jenkins to GitLab and enable secure, scalable deployments on OpenShift and AWS, while embedding DevSecOps governance in a regulated enterprise.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD
• Experience migrating from Jenkins pipelines to GitLab
• Strong Git knowledge and modern branching strategies
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash)
• Experience in complex, distributed enterprise environments

Responsibilities

• Migrate from Jenkins/Bitbucket to GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to GitLab usage standards, templates, and best practices
• Integrate GitLab with enterprise tooling (artifact repos, security scanners, observability)
• Apply trunk-based development with feature toggles
• Deploy and operate apps on Red Hat OpenShift (private cloud)
• Support deployments on AWS platforms (ECS/Fargate)
• Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning)
• Ensure pipelines comply with internal standards and regulatory requirements
• Support audit-ready pipeline designs and evidence generation
• Deliver training on pipelines, GitLab, and DevOps practices
• Share knowledge across regions and product teams
