Job summary

Jobster in Amsterdam is seeking a DevOps Engineer – Development Services to roll out GitLab standardized CI/CD pipelines across multiple product teams and regions. You will help transition from Jenkins to GitLab CI/CD and enable secure, scalable deployments on Red Hat OpenShift Private Cloud and AWS-based public clouds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Solid experience with GitLab CI/CD in large-scale environments.
• Proven Jenkins to GitLab migration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Git and trunk-based development.
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Experience in complex distributed enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Migrate pipelines to GitLab CI/CD across multiple product teams and regions.
• Create and enforce GitLab usage standards and pipeline templates.
• Integrate GitLab with artifact repositories, security scanners, and observability tools.
• Apply trunk-based development with feature toggles.
• Deploy and operate apps on OpenShift private cloud and AWS platforms.
