Zusammenfassung

YorTeam B.V. in Amsterdam is recruiting a DevOps Engineer to join the Development Services team of a leading international financial institution.

You will drive GitLab CI/CD adoption across multiple teams and regions, migrating from Jenkins/Bitbucket and enabling secure, automated software delivery. You will work hands-on with OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, Python and Bash, implementing reusable pipelines and collaborating with security, platform and development teams to maintain high-quality

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, including pipelines and templates.
• Experience with Jenkins, preferably Jenkins-to-GitLab migrations.
• Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies and MR workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with Python and/or Bash scripting and AWS knowledge.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure CI/CD controls.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments with stakeholder management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Aufgaben

• Design, build and maintain standardized GitLab CI/CD pipelines and reusable templates.
• Support migrations from Jenkins and Bitbucket to GitLab CI/CD and promote modern Git workflows.
• Integrate pipelines with artifact repositories, security scanners and observability tooling.
• Deploy and support containerized apps on OpenShift/Kubernetes and cloud environments (AWS).
• Automate CI/CD and deployment processes using Python and Bash; troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure delivery meets security, compliance and audit requirements in a regulated environment.
• Provide onboarding, documentation and technical guidance for GitLab adoption across regions.
• Collaborate with developers, platform engineers and security teams to improve developer experience.
