Job summary

GLS Wijchen is seeking a Warehouse Worker to help ensure parcels reach their destinations on time. You will unload incoming trucks, sort parcels by route, and load outgoing trucks safely.

You’ll check parcels for damage, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and collaborate with teammates to keep parcel flow smooth. This role emphasizes physical work; no prior warehouse experience is required, just motivation, reliability, and readiness to work Monday through Friday, with possible evening/night

• Able to lift and move parcels and work physically.
• Basic English communication is sufficient to perform duties.

Job description

As a Warehouse Worker at GLS Wijchen, you help make sure every parcel reaches the correct destination on time.

During your shift, you will:

• unload incoming trucks;
• sort parcels by route and destination;
• load outgoing trucks safely and efficiently;
• check parcels for damage or irregularities;
• keep your workplace clean, organised and safe;
• work with your colleagues to keep the parcel flow running smoothly.

This is an active logistics job. You will spend much of your shift walking, lifting, sorting and moving parcels. It is a good fit if you enjoy physical work and prefer being active to sitting behind a desk. You do not need previous warehouse experience. We mainly ask that you are motivated, reliable and ready to work.

You:

• speak basic English;
• are available from Monday to Friday;
• can work evening and night shifts;
• are physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving parcels;
• have your own reliable transport to Wijchen;
• work safely and carefully;
• enjoy working as part of a team.

Experience as a warehouse employee, logistics employee, parcel sorter or order picker is an advantage, but not a requirement.
