Job summary

Rival Foods, a plant-based food tech start-up, offers a 4–6 month product development internship focused on researching novel ingredients and optimizing formulations. You will work with the product development team to improve sensory properties while maintaining health and sustainability goals.

You are in your final year of a relevant BSc or MSc in Food Technology, with a passion for ingredient functionality and a hands-on, proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Final-year student in BSc or MSc in Food Technology or related field.
• Solid foundation in food technology, ingredients and protein functionality.
• Ability to design and run lab or pilot plant experiments.

Responsibilities

• Experimentation and optimization of formulations.
• Research novel ingredient functionalities for formulation optimization.
• Data analysis to identify trends and propose improvements.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product development and quality teams.
• Documentation and reporting of experiments and findings.
