Rival Foods is seeking a hands-on Product Development Intern in Amersfoort to contribute to the next generation of plant-based proteins. You will research novel ingredients, document results, and support formulation optimization with the product development team.

Qualifications

• Final year of a relevant BSc or MSc program (e.g., Food Technology).
• Solid foundation in food technology and protein functionality.
• Hands-on mentality with initiative and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research into the functionality or sensory properties of new ingredients.
• Maintain thorough documentation of experiments and findings.
• Optimize existing formulations by leading and conducting laboratory or pilot-plant experiments.
• Analyze data to identify trends and evaluate product performance.
• Collaborate with product development and quality teams to align project objectives.
• Assist with team-driven projects within a dynamic start-up environment.
