Job summary

Maastricht UMC+ is seeking a paediatric urologist to join two colleagues in the Paediatric Urology team. You will contribute to outpatient, inpatient and surgical activities, with opportunities for research and teaching.

The role includes on-call duties, collaboration with Paediatric Nephrology and Paediatric Surgery, and ongoing professional development. Fluency in Dutch at CEFR B2 is required and you must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Recognised paediatric urologist or plan to obtain European FEAPU accreditation soon.
• Collaborative team member providing patient care in outpatient clinics, inpatient wards and operating theatres.
• Supervise residents and junior doctors as part of the department.
• Participate in the on-call rota within the adult Urology pool.
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings within and outside Maastricht UMC+.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient, inpatient and surgical care within Paediatric Urology.
• Supervise residents and junior doctors in clinical settings.
• Participate in on-call rota and MDT meetings.
