Job summary

Maastricht UMC+ is seeking a qualified paediatric urologist to join our team. The role involves outpatient, inpatient and surgical duties, with participation in the adult on-call rota and multidisciplinary meetings.

Aiming for FEAPU accreditation, you will work within a dynamic, research-driven environment and contribute to education and training. Requirements include Dutch language at CEFR B2 and eligibility to work in the Netherlands, plus VOG documentation before starting.

Qualifications

• Recognised paediatric urologist or plan to obtain FEAPU accreditation.
• Collaborative team member providing care in outpatient, inpatient, and theatres.
• Supervising residents and junior doctors; participate in on-call rota.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings within and outside Maastricht UMC+.
• Must have Dutch language at CEFR B2 level and valid right to work in the Netherlands.
• Able to provide Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag (VOG) before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient clinics, inpatient wards and operating theatres.
• Supervise residents and junior doctors.
• Participate in on-call rota for adult Urology.
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings.
