Job summary

Maastricht UMC+ is seeking a qualified or prospective paediatric urologist to join a two-person team within the Urology department. The role includes outpatient, inpatient and surgical duties, with opportunities to contribute to research and teaching.

Applicants should pursue European FEAPU accreditation, work within multidisciplinary teams, and participate in the adult urology on-call pool. Dutch language proficiency (CEFR B2) is required.

Qualifications

• You are a recognised paediatric urologist or plan to obtain European FEAPU accreditation soon.
• Collaborate within Paediatric Urology team; provide care in outpatient, inpatient and OR.
• Supervise residents and junior doctors; participate in on-call rota for adult Urology.
• Engage in multidisciplinary meetings and cross-specialty collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a two-paediatric-urology team and broader Urology staff.
• Contribute to outpatient clinics, inpatient wards and operating theatres.
• Participate in cross-departmental multidisciplinary meetings.
• Provide teaching and supervision for residents and junior doctors.
