Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES is seeking a Packaging Line Operator (3-Shift) to support daily packaging operations in a fast-paced production environment. You will operate, set up, and monitor packaging and end-of-line equipment to ensure products are packed safely, correctly, and on time.

The role requires working in a 3-shift rotation (morning, afternoon, night) with a hands-on approach, a focus on quality and safety, and the ability to coordinate tasks with colleagues on the line.

Qualifications

• LBO/MBO level of working and thinking.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a production or packaging environment.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices (including allergens).
• Familiar with safety instructions and disciplined working methods.
• Comfortable working in a 3-shift rotation (morning, afternoon, night).
• Practical, hands-on mindset with basic troubleshooting ability.
• Able to coordinate tasks with colleagues and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, change over, and monitor packaging lines and related equipment (including carton forming and palletising).
• Keep product flow running smoothly and adjust when issues or deviations occur.
• Perform quality and safety checks and record results according to procedures.
• Resolve minor technical issues and involve the technical team when required.
• Coordinate day-to-day work with packing colleagues and support operators on the assigned line(s).
• Ensure products are packed, processed, and palletised according to the production plan.
• Maintain cleanliness, order, and a safe working environment in line with food safety and quality standards.
• Participate in shift handovers and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
