Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Nijmegen, Netherlands, seeks a packaging lab assistant to support R&D packaging technologists by performing tests and providing data-driven insights.

You will run physical tests in the Packlab, print prototypes with 3D tools, help schedule planning, and assist with maintenance of lab equipment.

The ideal candidate has an HBO-level degree in packaging, chemistry or physics, lab experience, fluent business English, and a collaborative, proactive mindset. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Finalized HBO-level degree with background in packaging, chemistry, physics, or similar.
• Experience in a lab environment.
• Fluent in business English, both written and verbal.
• Team-oriented with initiative.
• Adaptable and quick to learn in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical tests in the Packlab in Nijmegen and report results.
• Support packaging technologists where needed.
• 3D-printing prototypes & mock-ups.
• Keep track of the planning.
• Day-to-day maintenance on equipment.
• Provide input in developing new test methods & procedures.
