Job summary

MSD Netherlands is seeking an Improvement Lead (Packaging) for the Boxmeer site to drive strategic initiatives across the IPT Packaging. You will manage improvement projects, align with site transformation, and partner with Operations, Quality, IT, and Supply Chain to unlock automation and digital solutions.

The role emphasizes Lean Six Sigma deployment, team development, and a data-driven culture to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in packaging processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant (technical) field.
• Experience leading project-based improvement initiatives in a relevant production environment (Pharma, Food, Chemical).
• Green Belt certification required.
• Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with data, KPIs, and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Improvement Team (13 employees).
• Define IPT strategy aligned with site transformation roadmap.
• Govern the project portfolio including new product introductions and process optimization.
• Initiate and manage Lean Six Sigma, data analysis, and digital improvement initiatives.
• Ensure application of Lean Six Sigma, Project Management, Change Management, and digital tools.
