Job summary

Perrigo Company plc is seeking a Production Engineering professional to provide technical expertise and solutions to support operations at our Holland plant. You will collaborate with the engineering, quality, and operations teams to implement changes that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency while aligning with Perrigo's standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Engineering Management).
Understanding of engineering fundamentals of equipment operation and standard principles/techniques.
Ability to read drawings, flowcharts, schematics related to system design.
Demonstrated understanding of lean principles and Six Sigma processes.

Responsibilities

Review the previous 24 hours of production data on designated work centers and address urgent needs.
Lead continuous improvement projects aimed at waste reduction and efficiency improvements using DMAIC.
Act as SME for packaging equipment and provide training to operations and support groups.
Plan, justify, and manage capital projects from scope to implementation, including URS, FAT, IQ, OQ, PQ and startup.
