Job summary

Fagron US in Rotterdam is seeking a Packaging Associate to assist in labeling and packaging activities, maintaining equipment and handling batches per SOPs.

This role requires a high school diploma, 0-2 years of related experience, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods. You should show strong attention to detail and work well both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in set-up of daily activities including batch and material staging.
• Document in batch records and logbooks.
• Meet Right First Time (RFT) metrics by reducing errors and completing corrections.
• Maintain adherence to SOPs, cGMPs and the manufacturing schedule.
• Aid in inventory control by documenting components and materials.
• Lift/move materials up to 40 lbs; stand up to 6 hours per shift.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.

About the Job

Hours: 2:00p-10:30p

Pay: $22.00/hourly USD

The Packaging Associate assists in the labeling and packaging activities inside and outside of semi-classified areas. Maintains equipment, operates production equipment, handles parts and supply inventors per Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• High level of attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
• Responsible for assisting in the set-up of daily activities including set-up and staging of batches and materials.
• Responsible for documenting in batch records and logbooks.
• Meet Right First Time (RFT) metrics by reducing error / deviations and completing corrections in a timely manner.
• Maintain adherence to SOP’s, cGMPs and the manufacturing schedule.
• Aid in inventory control by properly documenting components and materials used on corresponding paperwork.
• Be able to complete periods of standing up to 6hrs per shift and be able to frequently lift/move product materials during job shift (up to 40lbs).
• Assume other duties and responsibilities as directed by supervisors.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 0-2 years’ related experience.
• Ability to frequently lift/move materials and objects (up to 40 lbs)
• Ability to work overtime on weekends as needed.
• Able to take direction and work on production requirements as needed (after training).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.
• If needed, employee must have their prescription glasses within their first 7-days of employment.
• Ability to work with others in a positive and professional manner and to develop and maintain strong working relationships with co-workers and management.
• Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed; performs work independently without being prompted.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality, accuracy, and accountability.
