Job summary

WSP Power & Energy is expanding its Civil Engineering Department in Arnhem and seeks an Overhead Line Engineer to design overhead lines and interfaces to substations. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects.

You will perform structural analyses for towers and foundations, use PLS-CADD, PLS-TOWER and RFEM, and prepare reports and drawings. A bachelor’s in civil/structural engineering plus 3–8 years’ experience is expected, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3–8 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency in English and Dutch preferred.
• Experience with the PLS-suite, Tekla and RFEM would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design overhead lines and interface structures that connect with substations.
• Perform structural analyses and calculations for towers, foundations, line loadings and conductor sizing.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and documentation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and take responsibility for defined work packages.
