X4 Life Sciences in Gelderland, Netherlands, is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Line Control team. The role focuses on connecting machines through OT networks, HMI development, and industrial cybersecurity, rather than traditional PLC programming.

You will design, configure and maintain OT/industrial networks, implement VPNs and secure remote access, and collaborate with the team to improve reliability, security and performance across production lines.

Formación

• Hands-on OT/network engineering experience.
• Experience with HMI development (WinCC Unified).
• Knowledge of VPNs and secure remote access.
• Experience in food manufacturing or high-volume production preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Developing and maintaining HMI applications using Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC Unified.
• Designing OT/industrial networks connecting multiple machines across production lines.
• Working with network segmentation, VPNs and secure remote connectivity.
• Applying industrial cybersecurity principles within the OT environment.
• Supporting integration and communication between PLCs and line control systems.
