Job summary

Yara International is seeking a Connectivity Specialist to serve as the OPC UA Platform Responsible. You will bridge technology and production site automation, ensuring data flows from global plants to the cloud with an agile mindset and strong documentation standards.

Responsibilities include platform ownership, connectivity design, and scalable cloud architecture. Travel to production sites may be required to configurations, troubleshooting, or training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Computer Science, Industrial Connectivity or related field.
• Experience in technical environments or collaborative roles within complex system development.
• Experience in industrial production, automation control system software/hardware or OT connectivity.
• Strong data and process analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Platform Responsibility: main contact between technical teams and site automation/digital teams.
• Connectivity Ownership: design and maintain connectivity between digital platform and OT systems.
• Architecture & scalability: ensure scalable cloud components (Grafana).
• Data flow: manage production data to the cloud using OPC UA, SQL, PowerShell, or CLI.
• Device deployment: integrate hardware and sensors (IoT, Radar, Lidar) into OT.
• Documentation hygiene: use Jira/Confluence to document requirements and changes.
• LEAN mindset: drive continuous improvement between OT and cloud.
• Security & troubleshooting: follow security best practices; travel to sites if needed.
