Job summary

People in Science is hiring an Operator / Production Worker for a hands-on entry-level role in our food production facility in the Netherlands. You will learn to operate and set up production machines, gradually taking on more responsibility while ensuring product quality.

The position offers a structured path with training and access to our company academy, plus a 2-shift schedule and a starting salary under the local collective labor agreement, with a 4.5% year-end bonus and travel allowance.

Qualifications

Operator / Machine Operator Food Production (Entry-Level Position)

Would you like to start your career in the food industry and develop yourself into an operator?
Do you have experience in hospitality, logistics, production or another hands-on working environment? Then this could be a great opportunity to learn the operator profession on the job.
You will start as an Operator / Production Worker and work alongside experienced colleagues. Step by step, you will learn how to operate and set up production machines and take on more responsibility.

What will you do?

As an Operator / Production Worker, you will support the production line while gradually learning all aspects of the operator role.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and supporting production machines
• Setting up and checking machines
• Checking the quality of products and packaging
• Supplying and replacing packaging materials
• Identifying and resolving minor production issues
• Supervising and guiding production employees on the line

You will work in a chilled production environment in a 2-shift schedule.
