Job summary

AXIS Career in Venlo is seeking an Operator on the laminating line to control computer-guided equipment and contribute to the glass lamination process. You will ensure large panels are processed accurately and moved correctly.

Job description

As an Operator on the laminating line, you work with computer-controlled machines and play an important role in the glass laminating process. You make sure that large glass panels are processed accurately and moved correctly.

Your tasks include:

• Setting and operating a computer-controlled laminating machine;


• Checking the production process;


• Checking the quality of laminated glass panels;


• Moving glass panels with a crane equipped with suction cups;


• Following safety rules;


• Working together with your colleagues;


• Learning new tasks and developing your skills.

You will work an average of 31.5 hours per week in a 4-shift system. You will work in a rotating schedule with shifts from 00:00 to 08:00, 08:00 to 16:00 and 16:00 to 00:00. We are looking for someone who works carefully and is willing to learn.

You:

Experience in the glass industry is not required. Most important is that you are motivated, careful and willing to learn.
