Job summary

At NTS Precision in Eindhoven, a Production Planner links the customer, production and the rest of the organization to build feasible schedules for precision machining orders from prototypes to small series.

You translate forecasts into production plans, monitor capacity and material needs, manage orders from entry to delivery, and act as the main contact for customers on delivery times and changes — while collaborating with procurement, shop floor and sales support.

Qualifications

• MBO+/HBO education in engineering, logistics, or (technical) business administration, or equivalent by experience.
• Experience as a planner in a manufacturing environment; machining or high mix, low volume is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems (Navision bonus) and proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communicator with ability to switch between customers, office colleagues and shop floor.
• Think ahead, keep an overview and stay calm under schedule pressure.

Job Description

As a Production Planner at NTS Precision, you are the link between the customer, production, and the rest of the organization. NTS Precision is a compact manufacturing company in Eindhoven, specialized in precision machining. We turn and mill high-quality parts for customers in industries such as semiconductors and analytics, from prototypes to small series. Because we are small, your role is broad. You not only plan, but you also think about capacity, materials, and delivery times, and you are the point of contact for our customers. No day is the same: a rush order, a machine that needs extra attention, or a customer adjusting their forecast. You make sure the puzzle fits again.

You will be part of a small and close-knit team with colleagues from procurement, planning, and sales support. The lines are short, you can walk straight to the shop floor, and decisions are made quickly. What you plan, you will see shortly after as a finished product going out the door.

Your responsibilities also include:

• Translating customer orders, forecasts, and requests into a feasible and realistic production schedule.
• Planning and monitoring machine capacity and material requirements, both short and long term.
• Order management from A to Z, from order entry and confirmation to delivery.
• Acting as a point of contact for customers regarding delivery times, changes, and rush requests.
• Coordinating with production, work preparation, procurement, and dispatch, so everyone knows what needs to be ready when.
• Timely identifying risks and bottlenecks and solving them with colleagues before the delivery time is at risk.
• Improving planning processes and the use of the ERP system, focusing on customer needs and efficiency.

Requirements

We are looking for a planner with an overview, courage, and a hands-on mentality, with the following background:

• A completed mbo+/hbo education in engineering, logistics, or (technical) business administration, or an equivalent level through relevant work experience.
• Experience as a planner in a manufacturing environment; experience in machining or a high mix, low volume environment is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems (knowledge of Navision is a bonus) and proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• You are a strong communicator and can easily switch between customers, colleagues in the office, and the shop floor.
• You think ahead, keep an overview, and stay calm when the schedule is under pressure.
• You feel at home in a small team where you look beyond your own job boundaries and support each other.
• Good command of the Dutch language in speech and writing.
