Job summary

NTS Eindhoven - Precision Machining is seeking an Operations Planner. You link customers, production and the wider team to create feasible schedules and manage capacity and material needs.

You will own the planning process from order to delivery, coordinate with procurement and shop floor, and continuously improve ERP use to meet customer demands in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Completed mbo+/hbo education in engineering, logistics, or technical business administration.
• Experience as a planner in manufacturing; high mix, low volume is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems and proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communicator, able to switch between customers, office and shop floor.
• Think ahead, stay calm under pressure, team-oriented.
• Good command of Dutch, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Translate orders, forecasts and requests into a feasible production schedule.
• Plan and monitor machine capacity and material requirements short and long term.
• Manage orders from entry to delivery (A to Z).
• Act as contact for delivery times, changes and rush requests.
• Coordinate with production, work preparation, procurement and dispatch.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks and resolve with colleagues before delivery risk.
• Improve planning processes and ERP usage focused on customer needs.

NTS Precision is a compact manufacturing company in Eindhoven, specialized in precision machining. We turn and mill high-quality parts for customers in industries such as semiconductors and analytics, from prototypes to small series. Because we are small, your role is broad. You not only plan, but you also think about capacity, materials, and delivery times, and you are the point of contact for our customers. No day is the same: a rush order, a machine that needs extra attention, or a customer adjusting their forecast. You make sure the puzzle fits again. You will be part of a small and close-knit team with colleagues from procurement, planning, and sales support. The lines are short, you can walk straight to the shop floor, and decisions are made quickly.
