Job summary

McKinsey & Company in Europe is seeking a driven professional for the two-year Operations Excellence Program (OEP). You will engage in problem solving for clients, identify issues, form hypotheses, and deliver practical recommendations while developing advanced operations and consultancy skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and exceptional academics required.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing (e.g., Toyota Production System, kaizen methods, TPM, JIT, SMED) and/or quality/regulatory domains.
• Proven leadership in work settings and/or extracurricular activities.
• Willingness to take on European assignments during the work week.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively in English and local office language.

Responsibilities

• Identify issues, form hypotheses, design analyses, and synthesize conclusions into actionable client recommendations.
• Develop leadership and consultancy capabilities through on-the-job coaching and structured programs.
• Contribute to multiple client engagements across industries within the Operations Practice.
• Operate from one of McKinsey's European offices with hybrid travel expectations.
