Job summary

Jobtailor in Venlo, Netherlands is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily activities at our Venlo location. You will manage a team of 3-5 direct reports and influence up to 200 FTEs through effective logistics leadership.

You will optimize processes to boost productivity, quality and customer satisfaction, identify bottlenecks, and develop your team with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership role, preferably in a logistics environment.
• Analytical skills to identify bottlenecks and define solutions or process improvements.
• Knowledge of HR tasks such as absenteeism, sustainable employability, reintegration, hiring new colleagues, employee evaluations, and staff development plans.
• Proficiency in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations at the Venlo location.
• Lead a team of 3–5 direct reports and influence up to ~200 FTEs.
• Drive daily operations to ensure efficient and effective logistics processes.
• Continuously optimize processes to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify bottlenecks, analyze issues, and implement practical solutions for smooth operations.
