Job summary

Farmless is seeking a versatile operations generalist who will own day-to-day business ops across finance, reporting, grants, and internal systems. You will build scalable processes and systems to support rapid growth while managing non-dilutive funding efforts.

You’ll jump into high-impact tasks beyond a fixed job description and help the team move fast and responsibly. You’ll thrive in a mission-driven environment that values autonomy, speed, and ambitious outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a startup, VC, or other demanding environment.
• You own problems and proactively find solutions when scope is unclear.
• You simplify processes, automate workflows, and build scalable tools.
• You’re driven by a mission to improve sustainability in food.
• Bonus: Dutch language skills and willingness to engage in local ops.

Responsibilities

• Keep day-to-day business ops across finance, reporting, communications, and multiple small projects.
• Build internal systems to help the team scale and decision-making.
• Identify, write, and manage grants and consortia for non-dilutive funding.
• Tackle unglamorous, urgent tasks with speed and rigor.
